Everything you need to know, before you book.

A card authorization hold is placed at delivery and released 48 hours after you return the vehicle; your bank may take a few extra days. Golf carts: no deposit in most cases. A $500 hold may be requested at our discretion (for example for young drivers or other safety concerns). ATV: $1,250. Side-by-sides (Talon, Ranger): $2,000.

Once your booking is confirmed, you can either pick it up at our Tamarindo office or have it delivered directly to your villa, hotel or vacation rental. Delivery fee per vehicle: free in Tamarindo and Playa Langosta; USD 55 to Hacienda Pinilla; USD 100 to Playa Grande, Avellanas, Flamingo, Potrero, Brasilito, Reserva Conchal and Playa Negra. Contact us for other areas. A 6% booking fee is added at checkout, calculated on the subtotal including add-ons and delivery fees.

Yes. A valid physical driver's license is required to rent and drive any of our vehicles. Temporary driver's licenses are not accepted, in compliance with INS insurance requirements. Age requirements — golf carts and ATVs: renter 21+, drivers 18+. UTVs (Honda Talon, Polaris Ranger): renter 25+, drivers 21+.

Every cart is properly insured with INS, Costa Rica's official state-owned insurance company. If anything happens, our team coordinates directly with INS representatives so you can keep enjoying your vacation instead of dealing with claims in a foreign language.

Yes — every vehicle in our fleet is street-legal in Costa Rica with up-to-date Riteve (technical inspection), license plates and marchamo (transit permit). You can drive them in town and in gated communities like Reserva Conchal and Hacienda Pinilla, though each community may set its own internal rules.

With the optional Money-Back Policy: 100% refund of the rental price 14+ days before delivery, 50% from 7 to 13 days, no refund under 7 days. No refund for same-day cancellations or no-shows. The Money-Back Policy fee itself is non-refundable. The Money-Back Policy does not cover damage, penalties, or other charges arising from your use of the vehicle. Without the Money-Back Policy, all bookings are non-refundable and non-creditable. Full details in our Terms & Conditions, Section 10.

Long-term rentals start at 32 days; message us on WhatsApp for a long-stay rate. We also apply special rates for guests with disabilities, elders, pregnant women and families with infants. Share your dates and lodging location when requesting a quote.

Common issues like a flat tire or a light failure can happen with daily coastal use. On fast delivery, our staff walks you through how the cart works and how to handle minor issues. If you can't fix it, call our WhatsApp line — for non-emergencies, a technician comes the next morning. All carts have GPS, so we find you fast and can swap the cart if needed.
